Brief Biography
Gratuated with a Masters in Physics ( Applied Electronics) from Bhavan's New Science College affiliated to Osmaina University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India in 2001. Worked as a trainee engineer in DatalogControls and Solutions in the design and development of electronic devices. Also worked as a lecturer in Physics in Sri Chaitanya junior Kalasala, Hyderabad, Vaagdevi degree and P.G College, Warangal, and Takshashila degree college, Mahaboobnagar, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Joined the IEO Centre in February 2005.

Research Interests
Research involves the fabrication of liquid crystal optoelectronic devices such as switchable liquid crystal diffraction gratings, polarisation rotator and variable focus lens. Presently, surface relief effects in photopolymer are filled with liquid crystals for fabrication of the device. The dependence of surface relief effect on different recording parameters and physical parameters of recording photopolymer material is studied. Future work will involve characterisation of polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC).

The research work is supervised by Dr Vincent Toal, Dr Izabela Naydenova and Dr Robert Howard (School of Physics)
